The main purposes and types of personal data collection and retention
In respect of course enrollment, enquiry and other matters in relation to us, you may need to provide us with your personal data, including but not limited to name, identification document number or email. Unless you consent otherwise, we will only use and retain such personal data for the said purposes and/or other purposes that are directly connected to such purposes, and we do not transfer your personal data to third party.
We take appropriate steps to protect personal data from lost, unauthorised access, uses, modification or disclosure.
We use our best endeavours to ensure that the collected personal data will not be kept for a period longer than it is needed for the purposes of collection.
Data Access and Correction Request
If you wish to submit a data access request to us, plese fill in the Data Access Request Form (OPS003)(http://www.hkaps.com.hk/files/Dforme.pdf) and send to our Data Protection Officer by fax (3020 5781), by email (firstname.lastname@example.org), by post or in person (Suite 707A, 7th Floor, Office Plus@Prince Edward, 794-802 Nathan Road, Prince Edward, Kowloon, Hong Kong).
When we process access or correction requests, we will verify the identity of the person who makes the request in order to ensure that he/she has legal rights to make the request. We may charge a fee for processing data access request. We keep a log book according to section 27 of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.
